Ronald Hilton Obituary

Ronald S. Hilton
Ron will be deeply missed.
Ronald S. Hilton

October 30, 1943 - June 4, 2017
Born in Denver, CO
Resided in Denver, CO

Ronald Sullivan Hilton, 73 was the youngest of four to the late Clifford A. Hilton and Willie B. Hilton born on October 30, 1943 in Denver, Colorado.
Ron graduated from Manuel High School in Denver in 1962. While in high school he joined the singing group "The Marvels," after a nice run he continued working for Denver Public Schools. Ron was retired from the school system after working for them over 35 years. A short time after graduation he met and married Jaqueline Hilton. Ron and Jacqueline were happily married for 48 years. Ron was the proud father of five children; his son Clifford Hilton preceded him in death. Ron continued to sing for over 15 years with the Gospel group "By Faith."
He is survived by four of his children: Dynell "De-De" Hilton, Billie Hilton, Natalie Hilton, and Ronald Hilton, Jr. All of whom reside in Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by three sisters: Jacquelyn Simmons, Wilma D. Allen (Gloria) from Monroe, Louisiana, and Julia Ransom of Denver. Furthermore, he is survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He also has nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends.
Ron was known as a praise specialist, a loving servant of the Lord, and a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to lead members of his community to Jesus Christ, by serving others with his wife. He is a great example of the "Good and Faithful Servant" and will be missed by many.
He is known as a gentle and patient man who showed humility at every turn; he and his wife would show up to doctor visits, funerals, to fix a tire, or to feed and clothe many through their ministry, "The Bread Room." They are also known to be together at every-turn.
There are many more acts that he is known for but cannot be described with words. He went on to be with the Lord on Pentecost Sunday, June 4, 2017.

A Part of Life
We enter this world
From, "The Great Unknown"
And God gives each Spirit
A form of its own…

And endows this form with a heart and a soul
To spur man on to his ultimate goal…

For all men are born
To return as they came
And birth and death
Is in essence the same…

And man is but born
To die and arise
For beyond this world in beauty
There lies…

The purpose of death
Which is but to gain
Life Everlasting
In God's Great Domain…

And no one
Need make this journey alone
For God has promised
To take care of his own...
