Obituary for Leanna Williams

Leanna Williams was born in Taft, Oklahoma to the late Sedrick Wade and Hattie Mae Sango Wade. She was one of three children that included a brother Harold Sango and a sister Faye Harris.

Leanna was married to the late June Williams. To this union three children were born: Harriett, James and Loreen, all of them preceded her in death. She also had six other children: Freeman Barnes (d), Debra Green, Michael Cauthen, David Hunter (d), Dieadre Lewis and Lisa Hemmings.

Mrs. Williams worked at Denver General Hospital in various capacities for twenty-seven years before she retired.

Leanna was a beautiful woman and a wonderful mother, who loved music and art. She often painted pictures and was great at transforming regular items into works of art.

She has a host of grandchildren (one who she raised as her own, David Pace), great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. As a grandmother she showed love and guidance. She is also survived by her sister in-law; Alpha Jean Sango; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Leanna will be missed by many and remembered by more.

MOVING IN
Dear Family and Friends,
I want you to know that I have moved.
I RECEIVED A CALL FROM God,
the chief architecture, who informed
me that I could move in immediately.

You know that I have been sending
my timber and only the chief carpenter
Jesus Christ could do. Some were
a little broad, or not long enough.

Well, my new home is finished
and it is such a beautiful sight to
behold! It is located in an exclusive
estate area and it sits behind
beautiful pearly gates just off a
serene celestial shore. Of course
the streets are paved with gold and
every day is Sunday here, I have
been told.

I've lived many places
before my new home was prepared
and none of the others compare.
There is peace, joy, and happiness
here with no pain to bear, no strife
or discontent. There is only sweet
serenity everywhere and I could go
on and on about my new home,
but I have to get fitted for my wings.

My New Address Is:
